@WillHolyfield31 The problem is, we already pay for it with our taxes, but the administrations in power (both Dem and Rep) are using the money for other purposes. While Canada has perfected universal health care we are still debating over here whether to or how to do it. We are the only industrialized nation that does not have it, and it is not because we are broke. Americas issue is it is a cultural bubble, filled with ignorance of international politics. We can learn from other countries.
@4lifemrobama There’s no such thing as “free” health care you idiot.
LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE….
If you buy what he is saying…I would like to talk to you about a bridge I am selling…CHEAP…
@ENAKASONE1 non-sequitur. Russia wasn’t communist. there are several nations around the world that currently use communism as a form of government to a very high degree of success
tax the rich, feed the poor till there are no rich no more…
@darris321 then they would have to shut down msnbc, fox news, cnn etc….
who TF pays for the people who can not afford this health care??!!?! How do they get health care if they can not pay it!!?!??!??
He has the right ideas but that’s all. He’s big on words and little on actions.
“I will not sign a plan, that adds one dime to our deficit.” Ummmm…you already have. And, you fired the CEO of GM! Dude, you’ve broken more Constitutional laws than any other President! I don’t know if I should congratulate you or fear for you! STOP metaling into the PRIVATE sector!!! Your job is souly to provide for the common defense of this people. Not take over the economy, the private sector is the economy!
Basically, they want to murder the private sector even more. And they want to dictate what insurance companies can and cannot do. All I’ve got to say is, the federal gov’t has no Constitutional authority to tell the private sector where they can stand. As much as Life sucks sometimes. At least we’re free! For now.
i want the public option we need free health care in america.
@Filo011 Why is it you supposedly ‘kind’ and ‘caring’ types (leftists who call yourselves liberals) can’t actually debate. Instead your response is always the same: “fck u”. I used to be on the left until my party of ‘free speech defenders’ are always trying to stop people from speaking…unless of course you agree with them. You need to some research. We need reform to make med cheaper for everyone. This is not reform. It’s politcal feel good
@Stingerbillion. Sorry but you’ve been misinformed. How many jobs it has added since it was implemented? The only jobs it’s added have been to govt bureaucrats. It has added no jobs to the private sector. The only incentive it’s provided is now less people becoming doctors. Reform is definitely needed, but this is not it. When has the govt ever done anything that saves people money or creates jobs. Answer: never (unless it’s their own)
@cgiron321: to answer your question. I don’t like giving you bad news and I hate to hearing what people have to go through. But the reality is ‘NO’ it won’t solve that problem or make medical care any better. In fact you will have to wait longer in that ER because how Obamacare provides coverage to all is by putting everyone without insurance on Medicare. Unfortunately we need healthcare ‘reform’ and this is not it.

@ENAKASONE1
wait yes universal health care doesn’t work at all for the rest of the world…… clearly England, Australia, Canada are have medical problems…………….. clearly paying out ur ass to see a doctor isn’t the stupidest thing in the world…. fck you rightwing newbs make me laugh
@hangtime9873 Yeah ‘communism’ worked soo well for Russia
If you think this sounds like such a great program, You need to consider at least 1 point: Why is it that the first thing Congress does is exempt themselves from having to be a part of it?…It doesn’t apply them. And why did the very groups that supported the bill (i.e. AARP) immediately ask for and get a waiver? . If it’s so great, why do they not want to a part of it?
lol it’s almost time to vote again and Obama didn’t keep his word
5th, you need to sign the bill to find out what’s really in it. Should we solve that by getting government involved, force people to buy insurance under penalty of prison, and call it ‘giving them free insurance’, or should we provide tax breaks to the charitable organizations providing free medical care to those who can’t afford it so they can expand their reach? It’s not about whether people should have access to healthcare but whether we want to create criminals or expand freedom.
there is no way all of these promises will happen successfully
I don’t like propaganda.
Propaganda should be illegal.
i have medicare and the service is TERRIBLE, i’ve had to wait 4 hours at the ER with a dislocated shoulder and no pain medicine just because the nurse had paperwork to do and don’t get me started on the crappy service as well, so my question is, will obamacare solve any of the issues i have?
@MetalandHotRods at least your head is empty enough to learn that “communism” isnt a bad word. It doesn’t demean those whom it is applied to. It’s a form of government and if you are smart enough to know what it actually is, then you would know that you are sadly mis-informed.
