Question by realchineseprincess: Is my home owner insurance will go up? Is there an rental insurance for tenant not paying rent?
My property has let live for free last two years to a friend and now he is going to leaving for a new job. So I consider to rent it out. Read so many bad tenants stories, I’m scared. For home owner insurance, if I rent the townhouse out, do they cover the damage that tenant may make? Does the premium will go up? Thanks

There is no such thing as rental insurance to cover costs that tenants make. You should do a good reference history on who you rent to.Call prior land-lords.

Question by LH: Are there any home owners insurance company’s that insure home owners with horses in the state of Florida?
I am looking for home owners insurance since State Farm is pulling out of Florida. I cant seem to find any that insure your home if you have horses. HELP PLEASE!

Best answer:

Answer by mbrcatz
It’s not the horse that is the problem – it’s the “in Florida”. EVERYONE is pulling out of Florida homeowners.

Go talk to a couple of local independent agents. But be prepared to have your coverage through Citizens – the state fund.

Is there any way to get away from high priced home liability insurance?

Posted by in Monday, April 16th 2012

Question by darn2ell: Is there any way to get away from high priced home liability insurance?
We have had our home up for sale with a real estate agency. We have relocated because of a job change. We unexpectingly received a notice that our homeowners insurance would be cancled. We have found it impossible to find reasonably priced liability insurance being that the house is vacant. Is there any recourse?

Best answer:

Answer by Rich
How long has the house been vacant? You may be able to get a landlords policy on the house. Call some local homeowners insurance agents and ask about landlords policies. Here is a good directory of local agents: http://www.insuremyhouse.com

How much does Home Owners Insurance cover when there has been a theft of property?

Posted by in Saturday, April 14th 2012

Question by Brett J: How much does Home Owners Insurance cover when there has been a theft of property?
My house was broken into and a lot of stuff was stolen. I have home owners insurance, but I was wondering if these companies are good at refunding what you lost or if they undervalue a lot. It was mostly electronics and guns that were stolen. I have some receipts, some were gifts, and some were old and I have since lost the reciept. What is their process and do they typically resolve these issues amicably?

Q&A: Dental insurance and Lumineers for teeth. Is there ever a way for insurance to pay?

Question by Aster: Dental insurance and Lumineers for teeth. Is there ever a way for insurance to pay?
I don’t currently have insurance, but the job I’m hoping to get is said to have fantastic insurance. Is there ever a way to have Lumineers paid, in part or full, by dental insurance?

If not, how much does it cost per tooth? How many are usually needed for a person with straight teeth…I was thinking 4 top and 4 bottom? Or more?

Best answer:

Answer by Bilinda G
In rare cases it wouldn’t be the dental insurance that would pay for this but your major medical if for some reason there was an accident. Sorry but I do not have any idea on cost.

Q&A: Is there a way to get a dental procedure covered by medical insurance rather than dental?

Posted by in Sunday, March 18th 2012

Question by Apple: Is there a way to get a dental procedure covered by medical insurance rather than dental?
I have alot of dental problems, i need 15 crowns on the top alone just basic bad tooth enamel. Its not from brushing or flossing since i do that daily. I have dental insurance but not as good as my medical. So is there a way to get it submitted through medical.
I don’t have delta dental in my state though. And the dentist i go to requires it paid at the time of service.

Answer by nysportsbabe
Unless they are working on your jaw or sinus cavities and such, then medical insurance does cover that…as for your teeth, you need to get dental like Delta Dental to cover all those crowns. Even then, they may not cover that many. You basically need your teeth capped and sometimes thats considered a cosmetic process. See if your dentist will work with you to get this covered.
