But millions of Americans now realize that the status quo is an illusion that will not last even another 10 or 20 years. The federal government cannot continue to spend a trillion dollars more than it collects in revenue each year because we are running out of creditors. Fiscal reality is setting in and the consequences may be grim, even if Congress finds the courage to take decisive action now. I have mobile home insurance now with a company that the rate has increased 600.00 in 3 yrs. I was given a rate through american tradition insurance for less than 1/2 of what I am paying now for almost the same coverage. Has anyone heard of the insurance company

Are you in Florida? American Tradition is a brand new insurance company operating in Florida, and they are NOT a rated company by AM Best, at their own request. That’s a major red flag.

When I went to their website, it looks like American Tradition is for standard homes, and Modern is for mobile homes. I’d guess, that there’s a strong possibility that you got a quote for a regular home, not a mobile home, and that’s why you’re seeing the price difference.

I would use caution, when moving to a company like this. Based on their website, they’re counting on Lloyds of London to backup their claims, AND, the state of Florida.

aparently when I redid my loan with my mortgage company last year, due to the type of loan or whatever, home insurance was no longer part of the monthly premium as I thought it was. now I have found that the home insurance lapsed as of 12/05/05. i need to find a insurance company that will work with me on getting insured again.

Any of them will–that is how they make money. Just go to a local agent. It isn’t like cars where it is against the law not to have it.

Do they have special insurance discounts for illegal immigrants? I’ve gotten in 4 car accidents since I’ve been here and the people I hit seemed upset that I didn’t have insurance.

My car was stolen last year around New Years (December 2006). My Insurance company sent someone out to investigate the area where my car was and whent over what happen. The problem is it has been over 30 days and they have not done anything.
