I know several people who have submitted their information into one of the many “online auto insurance quotes” and now they have solicitors all over them, on their phone, emails, junk mail and even one case of Social Security Identity theft. So my question is: Are these online auto insurance quotes really safe? Doesn’t it make sense to stay with a local auto insurance agent you can do business with either on the phone or in person.

Been there. Done that. Huge mistake and a waste of time. After much aggravation, it turned out that the company I was already with was the least expensive.

I have been doing a lot of research to make sure I can afford a motorcycle and I have been very surprised with the cost of insurance. I wasn’t expecting it to be cheap, but really! Everything has been between $ 2000 and $ 3000 a year. I am a 19 year old female who has taken the safety course and I have no accidents in my history. Also, the Ninja 250 is such a low powered machine, I thought that made a difference. Is there an insurance company that is cheaper?

Evry thing looks good on papers but just think about 19teen year old girln on a sports bike!!!!!!!! usually sport bike insurance is expensive its not going cheap so i suggest you start bying scooters first

I’m looking for whole life coverage for my mother. I need a plan for about $ 5,000-$ 10,000. All the websites where I can compare multiple ones at a time want your phone number (and/or email address) so they can call. I want to see the quotes instantly online. I just need a rough estimate and I could look further into an individual company. Anyone know of a website where I can do this?

I am with Geico currently and is up for renewal. I am planning to take quotes from different companies. May be they offer me a low rate. But I am scared by the fact that it will impact my credit score. Can you please advice? I have been driving for 4.5 yrs with clean record.

It’s the other way around. Insurance companies will look at your credit score, but it won’t be impacted as if you were trying to get a loan. So if you have good credit you will keep good credit and get a better rate on your insurance. Also, if you’ve been driving for that long with a clean record, go look at places like Allstate or any of the others. When I left Progressive, my rates dropped and I received better coverage. Shop around. Every year I go with out an accident my Allstate rates keep going down.

Contact an agent. They should be able to give you a rough idea of the cost. When you find the home of your dreams, you can give them the final info to get an exact quote.

Call your insurance agent. From past experience on my own vette, the rates were no more than the Ranger I owned also. I believe the rates on a vette are not that bad because usually the owners are not the irresponsable types, and when there might be an accident the bodily damaged is minimized due to the way the vehicle is built with the fiberglass body.

Most will not rate you to high anyway because they won’t pay if you committe suicide. UNLESS you live in Missouri because then an insurance has to pay for suicide, which is a good thing. Imagine if you accidentially died in a car crash but they tried saying it was suicide so as not to pay you. Check around a lot, State Farm, Prudential, MetLife are few big ones.
