I am planning on getting a 1984 corvette but the insurance for it is a little too high.i just found out about classic car insurance but i really don’t know much about it.but for classic car insurance,am i limited to a certain number of things like how far i can drive my car,when i can drive,etc?will the insurance actually be less or more for classic car insurance?and what is the best classic car insurance company i should go with?

a lot of times classic car ins is more because they insure it for what it would cost to replace it to the condition you have restored it to, whereas conventional ins would just give you blue book value for the car.

Im just confused about insurance. People are saying it would be very expensive but I turn 18 in a month should I wait until then?

Well you might get discount for having a safe and fuel efficient car. It will be expensive but the rate won’t go down untill you are around 25 so don’t wait. Plus they want you to have experience. Insurance is cheaper for girls (lucky you). And insurance companies rates varry from state to state depending upon a lot of an ares characteristics. You just gotta call around the companies and get quotes.

I drive a rental car, but the insurance is very expensive. I have to pay a daily price. I have non owners insurance, but that does not cover collision. buy a cheap car and insure it w/ full coverage..It’s a lot cheaper.

unfortunatley i believe you’re confined to the high premiums of the company if you don’t have your own for a car you currently own
