Why are you asking this here? The only person capable of answering your question would be an agent, and he would not be allowed to respond unless he could verify that you reside in a state in which he’s licensed. Contact a local independent agent.

Question by parmoni: How do I start my own insurance business?
It seems as though the only information out there explains how to start your own business as an independent agent for some giant insurance company such as Met Life or Statefarm. THAT’S NOT WHAT I’M WANTING. I want to write my own policies and pay my own claims using cash assets from my own company. Independent agents are basically just retailers. HOW CAN I TURN MY BUSINESS INTO AN INSURANCE “MANUFACTURER” AS OPPOSED TO BEING THE INSURANCE “DEALER”??????????? In other words, I want my company to be an insurance provider, NOT an insurance wholesaler, distributor nor retailer!

Question by ricks: what kind of insurance do you need for a business?
I am not sure of the type of insurance coverage my father inlaw needs. He started a courier/delivery (bulk mail & small packages) service & some places tell him he needs to be bonded to make deliveries. Fine. I called a bond company & they said they dont cover such things & that he requires business insurance.
Will that cover what is needed? That just doesnt sound right to me. I thought he would need to be bonded because he may be carrying things of value, like contracts, mail, cash, documents etc.
What does he need & who provides it?
Best answer:
Answer by misydoll
He needs business insurance, liability insurance and the bonding is part of the business insurance with most companies. Talk to your local agent, someone you can trust. Ususally you would write a policy covering your building and supplies, liability and any vehicles you might be delivering your packages in.

Question by Hello: How much business insurance costs approximately in UK?
Please tell me approximate cost for small limited company of business insurance or employers liability insurance. I will be very thankful to you.
Best answer:
Answer by mbrcatz17
Can’t. It depends WILDLY on the kind of business. An accountant is cheap. If you’re renting out airplanes, that’s going to be really expensive. “Small” is very subjective – and it’s more about type of business (cleaning out nuclear power plant bits?) than about number of employees.

Obama talks to Joe about health care and small business. Obama: I’m happy to talk to you, Joe, too, if you’re out there. Here is your fine. Zero. McCain interrupts: Zero?? Obama: Zero. You won’t pay a fine because as I said in our last debate I exempt small businesses from the requirement for large businesses that can afford to provide health care to their employees who are not doing it. I exempt small businesses from having to pay into a kitty, but large businesses that can afford it, we have a choice, either they provide health insurance to their employees or somebody has to. Right now what happens is those employees get dumped into the medicaid system which taxpayers pick up or going to the emergency room for uncompensated care which everybody picks up in their premiums. The average family is paying an additional 0 a year in higher premiums because of the uninsured. so here what we do, we exempt small businesses, Joe, if you want to do the right thing with your employees and provide them health insurance we’ll give you a 50% credit so you will be able to afford it. If you don’t have health insurance or you want to buy into a group plan you will be able to buy into the plan I just described. Now, what we haven’t talked about is senator mccain’s plan….
